Bristol School of Yoga had the end retreat of our 200 hr teacher training in North Cornwall. We stayed at a site called Caradoc of Tregardock. (sounds like it’s from Game of Thrones.) A lovely old farm building which had been converted into a holiday home. We arrived at Port Isac on Friday around 4pm. After finding our rooms and settling down we headed down to the beach for a wonder, which was less than a mile away.
We arrived at the beach just in time to witness one of the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever seen in the UK. Everything was painted blood orange and just breathtakingly beautiful.
Amy admiring the tidal waves.
We spent the evening practising yoga, pranayama, burning fire and eating. The last being my favourite 😀 .. As per usual.
Saturday morning: Anna look’s like such a babe even though we woke up at 6.45 and headed straight out for a silent walk. Followed by some practice in the lovely studio. 🙂
There’s nothing quite as relaxing as practising with the fire going on in the background… After practice and lunch, we had some time to explore before the evening yoga. Anna and I headed down to the beach to explore some caves.
And we ended up finding this beautiful stream by the beach. Really wanted to take a closer look but the tide was coming in and we had to head out.
All in all, I CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK TO CORNWALL. The nature and scenery are amazing.
